Short video of some of our work, which was created using iMovie — thus it is simple and we would like to showcase my work more that I created using more complex video editors such as Final Cut. However, this does show I have skills and knowledge using various video editing software for production and editing of video content — whether using still images, video clips, or sound. We can create such ads or more complex ones for your brand using either your own assets or our self-created ideas for you.
Here is a multimedia gaming concept we created using motion graphics out of standard 2D digital illustration and graphic design:
Below are some graphic design samples we created from scratch using street photography assets we captured of street art. We enjoy capturing amazing scenery, art and the world around us in our travels and turning our photography into new ideas or concepts for future work. We sometimes even utilize photography assets from the real world into our process of graphic design, video and illustration work. Sometimes, we add filters, effects, skewing and other changes to photography we capture and turn it into abstract imagery while adding backgrounds, effects and more ideas into the mix from scratch.
My name is Maciej Duraj and I am the founder of Artistic CounterCulture. I grew up interested in art and later graphic design, althiugh I have a degree and many years of experience in other media, notably journalism and online copywriting. As the founder of Artistic Counterculture, I usually carry an iPad with me at all times and often a separate digital camera. I love taking photographs from on the flow or without a previous preconceived notions of what I want to accomplish. Sometimes, the photography is used alone and other times combined with other graphic design in addition to some text, captions or small changes. It can also be used as inspiration for further work or as background for entire pieces filled with new assets. I think a lot of this type of work could be used in an ongoing basis for posters, gaming box art or cover art, album covers, book covers, or ads.
