The data piece started out as a screenshot from someone who took of a concept of data on a computer screen, but even that has been modified so heavily it is almost recognizable. The rest are completely from scratch. Here were some of our designs used and below are some of the article samples: The workers, or manufacturing combined with machine learning theme, were first created in pixel art on an iPad and imported into a raster program so that shadows were added as you see below. Then we used Illustrator to add the different effects, including mosaic. Below is phase two of this as the original had no shadow, but I have to find the file somewhere (it was all pixel without the shadow). Later, we created the other image with the car and some weird machinery and an abstract setting in pixel art and also imported it into Illustrator and other programs. Then we added the workers in via layers and mate it a complete piece. Here was the final piece as showcased in the Forbes article. Article samples:
