I have been working on new graphic designs and illustrations using Adobe Illustrator on iPad recently. Some of these designs include a previous raster image I used as backdrop with new objects done in vector and put within a scene. Others, are entirely vector from start to finish.
Here are some clowns and abstract images done entirely in Illustrator besides some of them that include a backdrop or pattern and some fill ins later using ArtStudio Pro on iPas. Also, I used Illustrator on iPad and not the desktop version at all for the vector designs.
Here are some designs where I mis a background image done mostly on iPad in raster with planes done on iPad using Illustrator. Note that the space head image or multi-face image was originally traced into Illustrator on my Mac where I worked on it using the mouse and pen tool and then exported it as a see-through PNG file.
Original vector shapes I later copied or expanded upon into the other raster image I used as backdrop (note the vector fumes vs raster ones I did in one of the images above using a cloud-like brush):
Note that the image above or second design idea here can be used as a poster. i was thinking of expanding on this poster idea with more little vector objects or aspects for a branding message of sorts. Here is a pure raster branding idea using the backdrop:
The Nike logo was hand done by me using the Apple Pencil and can obviously be replaced by another logo. Here is another idea for more mi imalism:
