You may recall that I have worked on a digital illustration with warriors, or in the original form a single warrior, who find(s) a magical portal or crystal (there are two versions of objects which I've created).  However, I have some updated versions of this piece now and this includes a ray tracing variant you can see below:

New Horse Rider & Manual Laborer Digital Illustrations

There has been a lot of updates since the last blog post, however Weebly has been acting really funny, so we were not able to update the blog. However, these problems seem to have been fixed. We also have been adding many different graphic designs to the news section and even added a new news post related to graphic design with the themes of robotics and quantum mechanics, which we will showcase with a wide range of revisions in an upcoming blog post.

I have updated three older digital illustrations that started as pixel art in two cases and a hand-made drawing in the third. Below are some of the new versions worth taking a look at (the last is just a variation of third with Van Gogh’s Starry Night theme).

Combining Magazine Multimedia with Graphic Design

You may have seen my last blog post, related to fantasy art and role-playing game (RPG) games. Take a look at the character holding the hammer in the background from those designs. I drew him some years ago from a Wonderful historical magazine called All About History about the Battle of Hastings.

The article had an image of a man holding a weapon on the upper right hand side I drew on paper using lead. I have later went over this character this digitizing him and hence why you saw him in my fantasy piece recently.

Working on New Fantasy Artwork, Short Animation

4/4/2020

I have been working on transforming another former hand-drawn (with some pastels thrown on top) artwork of mine into a digital illustration. The artwork was done very quickly and really when I just first started to pick up art again, thus the proportions were totally off (like of the warrior figure).

However, I liked the overall idea of it some and saw potential in transforming it digitally into something more relevant. Thus, I used a combination of two different apps as I usually do on the iPad, Procreate and ArtStudio, because combined they pretty much can replace Photoshop and its various filters and options. But with the added ability to use a stylus or Apple Pencil in my case.

Here is the end result of what I achieved after wdding two former assets or character to the piece besides the main hero. I will display various variants of this including them wearing various armor I devised and have stored as layers along with my original vision of just having the main hero in the cave. The title of my original piece with one hero is
Warriors Find Magical Portal if the light-hues object is showing and Warrior Finds Solace in a Magical Crystal if purplish structure is displayed; while you add an ’s’ to warrior for the versions I later created with all of the characters included.

Working on Pattern Designs

3/25/2020

Recently, I have been experimenting with this iPad tool or app called Adobe Capture. It allows for the creation or various 3D shapes, such as balls or rectangles, as well as repeating patterns out of designs. I used some designs I created previously from scratch to see how they would turn out when run through this software’s algorithm and here were some of these results:
I then inserted some of these patterns into Procreate and Artstudio to add more intricate designs on top of the patterns. I then combined some of these patterns and shapes as well. Here are some of the graphics that were the result of that:

In recently found some older graphic designs I created related to AI and decided to improve one of them or the most advanced version I had. It includes aspects of Internet of Things (IoT) such as a smart car and a smart refrigerator alongside more abstract ideas related to AI and ML.
Here are the graphic designs I came up with:

I call these the “The Lone Warrior” series. They are artwork that I created from scratch originally as a pencil drawing and traced over on my it pad using Procreate and the Apple Pencil. I then inserted them into Illustrator for some interesting results that I further worked on. Here are some of my samples I came up with of “The Lone Warrior”:

If you have been checking out the portfolio section of the site, you may have noticed that we added some new samples related to the concepts of AI and machine learning. You may see one of them soon in a feature article for a prominent company and website.
Here are some of the samples we have available and can create pure vector PDF files of the latter samples. So, if you wish to use them for your own branding or media, we can work with you in commissioning them for you whether as PDF files, SVG or Jpeg/PNG.

Neon Light-Inspired Graphic Design

2/16/2020

If you follow the news section of the site at all, you may have noticed some of my graphic design with the theme of neon lights as the top post right now. It was a filter I used from Illustrator to the previous fantasy or gaming landscape designs I have created and continued to work on it through the pen tool and other additions. The filter is called 'Glowing Edges' and it is under stylize in the FX menu within Illustrator.

However, I have also created some additional graphics of a skull I want to showcase here in the neon light style in addition to showing some of those samples I presented in the news section. In addition, I have been playing around with the actual 'Neon Glow' filter under the artistic section of Illustrator's FX in conjunction with this filter and using my own brushes when I later rasterized the graphic and continued to work on it.
Before I show the rasterized versions, here is the PDF file from one of the versions of the landscape:

Here are some of the rasterized versions of what I created and you can see more variants in the news post linked above:
