So after being rejected by a couple of major publications I decided to post my article, I previously mentioned I was working on, related to geoblocking and geographic barriers to efficient Internet use (including language being forced on you by Google among many other issues) when traveling or living abroad. I will still try to rework my pitches and angles and try pitching something along these lines, but maybe with a less general focus and based more on my personal experiences in europe thus far. However, here is what I have written thus far and hope you find interesting:
